Still time to register for Pre-Conference Session on IDEA Implementation Manual Training

An IDEA Implementation Manual Training will be offered on September 11, 2019 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  We will review the revised Implementation Manual chapters.  This session has been scheduled before the GaPMP Kickoff Conference.  We encourage parent mentors and other interested district staff to attend.

This session will be held at UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel 1197 South Lumpkin St. Athens, Georgia 30602 in Master’s Hall

Reservations may be made by telephone (1-800-884-1381 or 706-542-2134), or through the Georgia Center website (www.UGAHotel.com) using Group code 91867.

The following rates are confirmed for attendees:

$ 103 for a Classic Room with one queen or one king bed

$ 103 for a Classic Room with two custom (4’x6.5’) beds; each bed accommodates one person

$ 143 for a Select Room with two queen or two double beds

Rates shown are net and non-commissionable. All taxes and government fees applicable at the time of the event will be in addition to the rates noted above. Sales Tax in Athens/Clarke County, effective April 1, 2018, is 8%.

Here are some helpful Registration FAQs

Do I have to put in a user name and password?
Yes. GAEL is managing the registration for us and this is how they keep track of
registrations.
What if I don’t remember my user name and password?
The username is your email address. If you don’t remember your password, use the
automated “Reset password” system. If that doesn’t work, call (706-250-4800) or email
Pat Myers pmyers@gael.org or Becky Dove bdove@gael.org at the GAEL office and
they can reset it.
Do I have to join GAEL?
No.
What do I do if I am registering for more than one person in my district?
Everyone must have his or her own account, so each person must be registered
separately. If you are registering more than one person, you need to use the correct
email and password for each person and register them individually.
How will I know if my registration is confirmed?
An automatic response is sent to the individual who owns the account to confirm the
registration. It will go to the email listed for the account. If you are registering for
someone else, the confirmation will go to the person being registered and he/she would
need to forward a copy to you.
