Meet Lauren Graves in Marietta City

Lauren Graves, Lisa Lake and I presented at the 2025 FOCUS Education Conference. While the event was held in Dekalb County, there were families from all over the state. Don’t be surprised if you hear from a parent who learned about parent mentors this weekend. Our presentation was real but upbeat and we focused on dispute prevention.

This was Lisa Lake’s second panel of the week. Last Wednesday, she joined Sitara Nayak form Parent to Parent of Georgia, one of our family engagement state partners, in a panel discussion at the Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council.
