Parent Mentors work hard all year to help families celebrate the accomplishments of other people’s children in the school districts they serve. This is the place where Georgia’s Parent Mentors can celebrate the accomplishments of their own children! Please join us in congratulating these members of the Class of 2022.

Dawson Best, Cairo High School

Dawson Best, son of Rebecca Best in Grady County is graduating from Cairo High School. He will attend Project Search in the fall.

Kylie Bruce, UGA

Kylie Bruce, daughter of Teresa Bruce in Franklin County, graduated from UGA with a degree in Poultry Science and is already attending a grad school program.

Nick Hancock, Kennesaw University

Nick Hancock, son of Cherokee County Parent Mentor Jo Ellen Hancock is graduating from Kennesaw State University College of Engineering

Grace Lee, Ware County High School

Grace Lee is the daughter of April Lee, GaPMP Framework Coach.
Miss Lee is named Valedictorian of the Class of ’22 for Ware County High School.
She will attend Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina

Anna Catharina Locke, Claxton High School

Anna Catharina Locke is the daughter of Amanda Locke, parent mentor for Evans County Schools. She is graduating with honors from Claxton High School and has been accepted at Georgia Southern University where she plans to major in computer science.

Isaac Stewart, Trion High School

Isaac Stewart Trion High School, son of Heather Stewart, Trion City Schools Parent Mentor plans to attend Georgia North Western to get his Industrial Electrician Degree.

Katie Tharpe, Appling High School

Katie Tharpe, daughter of Appling County School System Parent Mentor Karen Tharpe, is graduating Magna Cum Laude from Appling County High School. 

She plans to attend college to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science.

Anthony Jerome Threadgill, Rome High School

Anthony Jerome Threadgill, son of Caroline Threadgill, PM of Floyd County schools, graduates from Rome High School.
