Douglas County, assisted by their district Parent Mentor is making parent involvement a priority

Genevieve Harris has been front and center in her district working to improve and enhance her district’s family engagement activities and programs. In addition to her work with PreK families as part of her GaPMP initiative, she also maintains an active social media presence by making sure families, school staff and the community, have the information about resources and events designed to support the families of children with exceptionalities.
