Ladd completes Georgia 2Gen Academy

Anne Ladd, Georgia Parent Mentor Partnership leader and Georgia Department of Education Family Engagement Program Specialist, recently graduated from the Georgia 2Gen Academy.

“It’s been nearly a year since I was invited to represent the GaDOE in this year long leadership program, a project of the Georgia Children’s Cabinet and the UGA Carl Vinson Institute of Government. I always love an opportunity to learn so I was excited to participate but I had not anticipated the level of commitment. It was a busy year! I loved my capstone group and our project is being picked up by the Georgia Council on Literacy in the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement— success!,” she said.
