Region Rep Toolkit
Thank you for keeping the GaPMP strong and robust. Whether you are a region rep or an assistant, you are playing an essention role by all the parent mentors in your group:
- Organizing and conducting region meetings
- Making sure your region membership is on track with their reporting and surveys
- Staying informed of GaPMP policy or training updates and informing mentors of those changes
- Sharing knowledge from earned experience
- Meeting new professionals in family engagement
- Making sure our newest mentors learn the requirements of the job, and the tricks of the trade
- Being a resource for others in the statewide partnership
Amanda’s Region Rep Organizational Tools
Amanda Locke, in Evans County shared these:
Region list and tracking sheet
The purpose of this sheet is to have the mentor list, their title(I include past chair-it shows who may have additional wisdom;-)), if they have acknowledged the region meeting dates,if they plan to host/co-host a region meeting, if they have paid dues, and the plan focus.
Mentor 1 to 1 Check-in Tracking Sheet
The purpose of this sheet is to track 1 to 1 check-ins between region meetings. I offer the opportunity to connect, if needed.
Region Reporting Tracking Sheet
The purpose of this sheet is to record if mentors have made their submissions of plan/report/contacts.
I ask the mentors to notify me when they submit. If I haven’t heard from everyone the week of reporting, I know to reach out and check on the missing mentor(s).
Self-explanatory
It’s basically the AGENDA with the notes from the meeting.
