Because information sharing is one of the most important things we do as parent mentors, we wanted to offer parent mentors and administrators a way to have hands-on training in a variety of important topics whenever they need it.

This course is designed to help parent mentors learn about their role in the Georgia Parent Mentor Partnership.  In this course, you will learn about the history, leadership and roles and responsibilities of being a parent mentor.

There are two modules which have a total of 4 lessons:

  • Module 1
  • Lesson 1 New Mentors
  • Module 2
  • Lesson 1 – Reporting and Responsibilities
  • Lesson 2 –  Making a Plan
  • Lesson 3 – Evidence to Practice Guides and Data Collection

When you complete a lesson you can take the corresponding quiz for that topic and earn a certificate! See, learning can be fun!

Ready? This is the introduction course to get you started.
